ElizabethHOPKINSDied peacefully at home, where she had been born and had lived all her life, on 8th April 2018, aged 84 years. Diane, Byron, Adam and Jack would like to thank all family and friends for their kind messages, donations and flowers received at this sad time. Our heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful carers at Outreach who cared so beautifully for mum over the last 3 years and were more like friends to us all than carers. Special thanks also go to Caroline for her kindness and support over the last 6 years and to Sandra for being an amazing neighbour, going above and beyond. It was mum's wish to remain at home and this wouldn't have been possible without you all so we will be eternally grateful for all your care and friendship. Thank you also to the Doctors at Churchtown Medical Centre for their attention over many years and to the Churchtown District Nurses for their compassion and support, allowing mum to be nursed at home in her final weeks. Finally our grateful thanks to Jean Lee at Emmanuel for a beautiful service and to Mike and his team at Moisters for their professionalism and guidance which allowed my mum to have her final wishes granted.
